Heather joined us in May 2009. She first attended the University of Vermont, graduating in 2002 with a degree in Physical Therapy. In 2009 she graduated from the University College of Bangor with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. An interest in post-op rehabilitation and combining her two degrees led her to attend a post-grad program and became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner through the University of Tennessee’s Canine Rehabilitation Program. Heather has found a way to incorporate her physical therapy training into her veterinary career. Her main project is growing our rehabilitation services to better serve our patients.
In her free time she enjoys knitting, needle felting, reading and snowboarding. She shares her home with her all-white, long-haired kitty named Betty and a cock-a-poo named Cricket!
