• Foods: DH Food by Purina or T/D food by Hill's Science Diet is formulated to scrape the tartar off of your pet's teeth. It comes in large or small chunks to fit your dog and is a good treat.
• NON-edible & long lasting: Nylabones, Gumma bones, Nyaladiscs, Plaque Attackers, Nylafloss, Kong Toys, Booda bones EXCEPT Booda Velvets
• Edible Toys: Carrot Bones and Roar Hide bones by Nylabone
• Rawhide: Alpo Chew-eez. Some dogs tolerate rawhide well while others experience stomach upset, or intestinal blockages if swallowed whole. There is debate between veterinarians (even ours here) whether or not these are a good idea.

Real Bones: Can cause stomach upset, intestinal blockages, wearing of the teeth and even broken teeth. The best thing to do with any new toy is to closely observe the dog the first few times it plays with it. If the toy breaks easily you should remove it and replace it with something more substantial.
