A Licensed Veterinary Technician must have an AS in Veterinary Technology or a BS in Animal Science and pass a state licensing exam.

• anesthesia monitoring and prepping patients for surgery
• taking radiographs (x-rays)
• running tests in our lab
• surgical discharges
• care of hospitalized patients
