Our staff is an amazing group of people. Each brings their own skills, interests and special touch to the team. Many of us feel as though our co-workers are a part of our extended family, and we support and encourage each other both at and outside of work. On this page we are sharing a bit about our backgrounds, what we bring to the practice and what we enjoy outside of work!
Allison joined Veazie Vet's Client Care Team in June 2006. Along with her excellent customer care skills, Allison brings with her a background of business education. In 1996 she received a certificate of skills mastery in banking and finance and in 2000 she graduated with an Associates degree in Business and Technology Administration.

A member of our Client Care Team, Amanda joined the practice in September 2001. Aside from her client care skills, Amanda takes care of our inventory and orders supplies. Her favorite part of her job is helping clients take care of their pets.
In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She lives with her husband Chad, daughter Isabel and their family of pets. She has a Beagle mix named Meridoc, and three black & white tuxedo cats: Levi, Allie and Eva, along with a family of Sea Monkeys.
Ashley first started at Veazie Veterinary Clinic as part of the externship portion of her Veterinary Technician program the spring of 2011 and joined our staff March of the same year as a veterinary assistant. She graduated with an A.S. in Veterinary Technology in May 2011, and will be taking her test to become a certified Veterinary Technician in June of 2011. She also has previous experience working at River Road Veterinary Clinic. Her interests at Veazie Vet include surgery, radiology, treatment and dental services.
In her spare time Ashely enjoys photography, organizing, fishing and camping. In her down time she likes artwork (especially graffiti) and listening to music. She shares her home with two dogs, Remi and Molly and a cat, Stanley.
Ashley's favorite part of her job is being able to assist in orthopedic surgeries. She also loves seeing the dramatic
difference of before and after photos of an animal's dental
cleaning.
Ashley joined the staff as an assistant in 2008, and then
graduated from University College of Bangor in 2009 with her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. Her areas of special interest at Veazie Vet are the reproduction & chemotherapy programs, laboratory techniques and dental health. Her favorite parts of her job are: knowing that we are making animals’ lives better and dental care. She adds that nothing is better than helping deliver and stabilizing a litter of puppies!
Outside of work, Ashley loves to read, watch movies and listen to music. She likes to organize and will tidy up things wherever she is. She would love to get into gardening and loves to be outside with her dog, Penny – a Sheltie/Jack Russell terrier mix. Bobbie began working at Veazie Vet in May 2000 after graduating with her Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology from University of Maine at August/Community College of Bangor. She became a licensed veterinary technician in June 2000. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Education and Accounting that she received previously from the University of Maine at Machias.
Bobbie has been our primary lab technician for several years, and is also actively involved in our rehabilitation and massage program, helping patients with arthritis and after orthopedic surgery. She also consults with our clients about weight management, helping extend the health of their pets.
Prior to joining us, Bobbie worked in both the banking industry and teaching business courses at various high schools and post secondary schools in Maine and Georgia. In her free time she enjoys quilting, crocheting, knitting and various crafts. She also gardens; growing flowers and vegetables. When she can, she spends time swimming, kayaking, hiking and camping.
One of her favorite memories is raising labrador retriever puppies for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. She raised a total of seven puppies. Even though it was difficult to give each puppy up, it was a gratifying experience to watch them grow and learn, and know they were going to help give independence to a blind person. She would receive updates on their progress as they got trained by the professionals at Guiding Eyes, and learn when they were assigned to a blind person. She also attended their graduation from training, getting to see them and meet their new owner. It was after having her own animals and raising the pups that she knew her next career should be with animals, and that is how she decided to become a veterinary technician.
Bobbie lives with her husband and her two dogs, a Labrador Retriever named Slate and a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever named Oak.

Debbi is part of our receptionist team and started with us in 2003. She has an associate degree in merchandising design.
